Chaplain Captain William White

Canada’s No. 2 Black Construction Battalion in world War One, was chaplined by Rev. William White (deceased) (photo left) of Truro, Nova Scotia. White’s spiritual role was extended to all health and welfare interests of his wards, far and beyond the common duties of a padre.
